Handling a DAC SPI MCP4821

Hi all
Does any of you have esperience in connecting this integrated circuit to a PIC (for example a 18F2420) ?
I've tried in many mode, using th built in functions of CCS compiler, but I don't have any result: the output is always 0 for any value I send via SPI
Can you help me ?

This chip looks very similar to the MCP4921 and CCS has a driver
for that chip. Look for the MCP4921.c file in this folder:
