Best way to connect two pins together.

Hi all,

I want to connect to outputs from other IC's to one input of a PIC this PIN as an interupt source to wake the PIC.

How can I do this using simple components, will a SOT23 diode do the trick, somthing like a BAV70 / 74?

If you want to OR your interrupt inputs, the diode-OR will work. Although, in my personal oppinion an OR gate is better, and it doesn't take more board space.

You might be able to use these OR gate chips, which you can find on DigiKey:

* SN74LVC1G332DCKR - 3-input OR in SC-70-6
* SN74AUC1G32DCKR - 2-input OR in SC-70-5

I didn't mention I am looking for very low power, 1ua would be OK but the parts you suggest are 10ua (max) I want a very low power standby waking when one of the events occurs (Ideally three but two will be OK)

Would the diode solution be best or is there a better solution out there?

P.S. Thanks for your help so far.
