SPI Setup and Timing Question
PostPosted: Fri Sep 30, 2005 9:30 am     Reply with quote

Hello All,

You may recall that I had a previous question about an LED driver ASIC. I'm coding right now and ready to test it and I could desperately use some expert help.

Here is a link to the data sheet (timing diagram is on page 3):

http://www.marktechopto.com/PDFs/toshiba/TB62726AN-AF.pdf

Questions are:

1. Should I use SPI_L_TO_H or vice versa? A brief explanation of why would be a huge help in the future so I don't have to ask again...the whole teach a man to fish deal....

2. Are there any of the other SPI setup parameters that I need to deal with?

3. Are there any of the notes at the bottom of the timing diagram that I need to consider?

Thanks to all, I think once I get it setup I can write the driver.

The PDF you reference shows the serial-in being sampled @ the SPI_L_TO_H edge of the clock signal. Notice the dashed line.
