system hang

Hi,
I am using PICDEM 2 PLUG demo board with ICD2.

after I compile and run a program in PICDEM 2 board with 20MHz crystal isolator, everything is OK. Reading of encoder from LCD is OK.

I copy another set of demo board using breadboard with one 20MHz crystal isolator 4 pin: 1 to ground, 1 to 5v, 1 NC and 1 to pic pin13 OSC1/CLKI. MCLR is connected as per PICDEM 2 board

I didnot connect any thing to OSC2 also nothing connected to RC0 and RC1. But PICDEM 2 connected to a 32.768KHz osilator to RC0 and RC1.

Program run for a while in breadboard and 'hang'.

What is missing out?
RC0 and RC1 need to be connected?

Thanks

What program are you running? The factory-supplied program on the PICDEM-2+?

Let's assume your hardware is okay with your new crystal and all. However, since you are missing your 32khz clock, then it can just be that the program hangs waiting for that input. Who knows.
