How to create a text file ...

Hello,

is it possible to create a text file on a desktop from a PIC 18 connected with RS232 on COM1 ?

And is it possible to open it and write in it from the PIC ?

A simple visual basic program running on the PC could monitor the serial port and open, write, close a text file..

Ok, thank you i'll search for C# similar to VB, and i am more familiar with it... If you have any example, it would be nice !
