evaluation version CCP
PostPosted: Sun Jun 19, 2005 2:42 am     Reply with quote

I have red the articles describing the CCP compiler and the IDE and it is astonnishing. It eases very much your work. I a m interested in getting one license for this but I didn't see any evaluation version of this software. I wat to see if it does a good job on my current project with the 16F877 PIC. I want an optimised code and I don't know if the copiler does this job quickly. So my question is: is there a method I can verify the cost of the code (run-time optimisation) ?

There is a downloadable demo version at:
<http://www.ccsinfo.com/demo.shtml>
This only supports a handful of processors, and is limited to 2K code size maximum. The 16F877, is supported.

Best Wishes
