write protect?

hello all

i was testing out the write protect fuse WRT and i have locked the only pic i have at he moment (PIC18LF8722).

is there a way to remove the protection, i have tried reconfiguring it wit NOWRT but to no avail

please help

the error i get in MPLAB is:

I think you have to erase the chip first, then reprogram. Also, I think you have to power the chip at 5v for the erase to work.
