Hi,

I´m trying to program a pic18f2480 device with my PCH compiler V3.152.

The header file I´m using is the old one from the pic18f248. (pic18f248.h)

Is a header file for the pic18f2480 existing and if yes, were can I get it

Is it necessary to update my compiler

Tom,
Yes, the header for the 18F2480 is in the latest version.

Simply having the header file will not work since the chip support is built into the compiler. So unfortunately, the answer to your question is you will need to upgrade....
