A really good book is "Embedded C Programming and the Microchip PIC" by Barnett, Cox & O'Cull. It comes with a demo version of the CCS compiler and all example text code on a CD-ROM. Great book, good bargain. Disclaimer: I have nothing whatsoever to do with the authors - in other words, I'm not "in on the deal" so to speak.
If you don't have a full version of the compiler, you can go to www.ccsinfo.com - they have a demo version you can download. It comes with examples that should help you start out. |
