iinChip Hardwired TCP/IP stack from Wiznet
PostPosted: Wed Nov 03, 2004 3:19 pm     Reply with quote

Has anyone used this chip (W3100A) with a PIC micro? I'm looking for some sample code to help me implement the chip with it's I2C interface.

i am working on it right now, I will post my drivers when they work.

I am implementing it using the WIZnet 7100A (I think that is the correct number) . I am using i2c to communicate with the chip and have ported some sample i2c code from the IInchip people. I can open and close ports on the chip, but have not yet got it transmitting data.

My senior design project is due on friday, and by the end of next week, I will probably start posting code and drivers I wrote onto the site. Noteably, I will have the network chip driver and wireless communications drivers.

This chip is a pain to deal with. I still cannot get it to do anything useful.
I hope someonw generated a good driver for it.
