default i2c speed in pre- 3.214 compiler
PostPosted: Mon Feb 28, 2005 11:26 am     Reply with quote

Hi,
I just renewed my subscription to the compiler since 3.212 was my last version before my subscription expired.

Anyways, I see we are now able to change i2c speeds. Does anyone know what was this default speed in BPS back before 3.214, assuming one was using the MSSP by declaring FORCE_HW in the #use_i2c statement?

Looking at the spec sheet for the PIC18F452, the standard speed is 100kHz and high speed is 400kHz. So I would imagine that the compiler would code accordingly.
