Hi

Im new at this PIC stuff. I want to send an sms from a PIC 18f452 to a nokia cell phone. Please can you give me the coding and the data cable info.

Google for 'Nokia AT command set' (i think the documentation is freely available from nokia.com also), certain mobile phones have a normal serial UART interface (CMOS level) that can be used as a modem with some specific commands for SMS sending/receiving.
Are you sure this has to be your first PIC project? ... I would not suggest to skip the blinking LEDs stuff.. Wink
