Which PIC recomended has 3 PWM outputs and runs at 40 MHz?

Hi,
I've tried to search for a PIC controller that can handle 3 PWM outputs and can runs at 40 MHz. I need it for controlling 3 individual digital control BUCK converters, so that's why I need the clock speed of 40 MHz. The important thing is this PIC need to be cheap. I saw some 18F4x20 but it seems too expensive. I can't use timers because I plan to use them for other applications. If anyone has a better idea, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Consider using 3 or 4 really cheap PICs running slower. I find it takes less time to write code and the product ends up more robust when I use a seperate PIC for each major function.

Off the top, in the 16F family (20MHz maximum however) the PIC16F7x7 parts might work. Some have 3 CCP pins.

In the 18F (40MHz) the PIC18F6310, 6410 and 8410 all claim to have at least 3 CCP pins.

Another alternative would be to use 3 much smaller parts and have them work cooporatively.

I have used the 16F767 and it worked great for me.

It is limited to 20M, but how high do you need your PWM Frequency to be.

I am running a 10M crystal and am getting approx. 38.5Khz at 8 bit resolution.
