How to kill the error message from mplab at the end of compilation :
Skipping link step. Not all sources built successfully.
BUILD FAILED: Thu Jan 13 10:10:12 2005.

CCS has no linker, so your error message suggests that you have chosen the wrong compiler settings.

Make sure that in "Project/Select Language Toolsuite..." you selected "CCS C Compiler for PIC12/14/16/18", the default "CCS C compiler" setting won't work.

If the above mentioned option is not available, then make sure you installed the CCS MPLAB plugin (downloadable from the CCS website).
