Multimaster I2C - can CCS do it????????
PostPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2004 5:41 pm     Reply with quote

Hey

I have been looking through the CCS manual and I have not found anything. I am looking to use the multimaster feature of one of the PIC processors. If anyone knows how I could use this please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Yes. Multimaster means more than one master. Typically the devices sit in slave mode. When the device wants to "talk", it switches to master mode and takes the bus. Once its done, it goes back to slave mode.
