MPLAB 6.6
PostPosted: Sun Oct 24, 2004 4:14 am     Reply with quote

Can anyone shed light on this
When I work in MPLab and compile files I get an extra window coming up that shows the file name I am using but not supporting long file names
ie SD Card.c becomes SDCARD~1.c (and likewise for the path)
Thanks

That's an MPLAB question. You should ask it in this forum on the
Microchip website: MPLAB IDE (Version 6.xx and later)
http://forum.microchip.com/
The moderators over there (HH and Jenninc) will want details, such
as exactly what window shows this problem.

Have just done as you suggest.

I can only assume others using this compiler do not work in MPLAB most of the the time.

Has any one else observed this ?

I've seen this and I've asked about it on both forums. They both point fingers at the other.

The good news is that I just installed v6.62 and it's not doing that... it may start it again the next time I use it but for now I'm happy.
