MPLAB and Silicon Rev.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 14, 2004 11:53 am     Reply with quote

I was told (by Microchip) with ICD-2 and the latest rev. of MPLAB it is now possible to find the Silicon Rev. for the connected chip, but did not think to ask how or where on the menu's that feature is to be found. .

I've searched the menu's and dialogs in MPLAB V6.62 and cannot find anything that looks like Silicon rev. Sure I could have missed it.

Has anyone been able to retreive silicon rev. with MPLAB V6.62 and ICD-2 ?

If MPLAB can do it can it also be done with ICD-U40 ?

And there's nothing special about MPLAB 6.62. The thing
that Mark showed could be done with 6.42, and probably earlier.
