converting string into hexadecimal equivalent value
Posted: Fri Jul 30, 2004 9:34 am
Hi,
Can anyone explain a simple way to take a part of a string and convert it into its hexadecimal value or just assign it to a hex value.
ex.
string = "556677"
When I read this value and store it into the pic in an array, I would like to
take say 55 of the string and convert it into 0x55, or simply say myhexvalue = 0x"55" to give 0x55.
