For some reason the CCS compiler is spitting out 1000's and 1000's of errors to the point where the buffer in MPLAB is not large enough to hold them. Thus I have no way of know where the first error is that cascaded into this god awful mess.
I would call tech-less support but getting through to tech support is a pain in the butt and usually they will not return calls or emails...

Make sure that MPLAB is set to Halt Build on First Failure.
This is set in the Configure / Settings / Projects menu.
This may not fix it. In that case, comment out all the code
inside main(). Also comment out most of your #include files.
At some point, it will stop giving errors. Then slowly un-comment
code until you find the error.

Too many Error Messages

When I encounter this problem I set the compiler to display only the first error (-E) and work my way through (you may want to add -EW to supress warnings until you get through that).
Usually it is one particular something that triggers all the rest, so when you find it most of the others disappear.

I did turn on halt after first error in MPLAB, but MPLAB seems to think it is one big error.
