#bit and int1
PostPosted: Wed Jun 30, 2004 5:58 am     Reply with quote

int1 toggle;
#bit clock = 0x06.0

clock = toggle++;

doesn't seem to do what I want it to do, which is this:

if (toggle) {
clock = 1;
toggle = FALSE;
} else {
clock = 0;
toggle = TRUE;
} //else

any ideas why? I often add 1 to 255 to get 0 with a int8 and that seems to work OK, is this a non-safe practice in C?
