printf() To MPLAB Output Window
PostPosted: Tue Jun 08, 2004 7:03 pm     Reply with quote

I am writing some math functions for a PIC18F452 project, using the CCS PCWH compiler (3.202) and MPLAB 6.52, and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to set up <stdio.h> to redirect printf outputs to MPLAB's Output Window on the PC?

I just want to test some math routines without connecting up a target board.

Thanks for any help.

See the following thread on the Microchip forum. They show how to do it.
