Interrupt input pin
PostPosted: Wed Jun 02, 2004 8:11 pm     Reply with quote

Dear all,

I am using Pin B0 of pic16f876 to as an interrupt input pin. My signal comes from DRDY (data ready pin) from AD7716. When I place a probe on the pin (to check with an oscilloscope), the pic could not sense a high to low interrupt input. When I remove the probe, it could sense it. May I know why? How can I solve this?

Probe loading?

Could it be that the o-scope probe is "loading" down the pin? Try increasing the input impedance of the scope? Are you using "cheesy" probes?

Just a thought.
