Nothing to do with CCS but, will MPLAB prevent the OSCCAL value from being written over on OTP devices like the 12c672?

MPLAB is supposed to prevent the calibration value from being
over-written. I have had one occasion in which the value was
erased anyway. I'm sure other people on this board have had
the same thing happen.
So I suppose the answer is, most of the time MPLAB will prevent
OSCCAL from being programmed, except for once in a while when
it fails to do so.
