Hello everyone,
When trying to use the ICD-U40 (driver updated 7/10) with PCWH 3.168 I get this error.
"Cannot open the USB port. Invalid handle."
Any clues as to what could be causing this?
Thanks,
Duane

Hello Duane B,
Did you have still running the 'ftd2xxun.exe' ?
I think that's for the announcement of the 'ftd2xx' drivers to the whole system.

There is a new ICD-U driver (09 Dec) software on the CCS download page. |

There are bugs in 9 Dec and 22 Dec ICD updates. Also, 13 Jan update allows the compiler to compile and flash download but my target application didn't run. I have now gone back to the 28 Oct update.
You should download 13 Jan (the latest version) from CCS site and try it. If it doesn't work, I can send you the 28 Oct update if you give me your email address.
I have ICD-S and I assume the updates work for ICD-U. |

Hi Agry,
I have tried sending you the update on 2 occasions but I got an error message saying I couldn't deliver it to you. Are you sure your email address is correct? Also, is your email account buffer nearly full? The update is about 1.1MB in size - can your account accept this size? |

Sorry, I have sent it again and got an error message again. Could you ask others or CCS to help you. |
