I´m needing this routines for a "surgery meter" i´m designing.
This project is placed into a medical device and save the starting time of a surgery and its duration.
I´m using a PIC and a DS1307 (and a memory 24c16)

If you want ASM code, this is not really the place, since this
is a C compiler forum. If you go to http://www.goggle.com
and type in these keywords: DS1307 movlw
then you will get two sample drivers in ASM in the first two hits.
