Use Proteus forum for Proteus ISIS and VSM questions:

Good explanation of reason why:

For CCS compiler questions, post them on this forum and:

When posting a question could you please start off with
1) type of PIC
2) version of compiler
3) REAL hardware - post board manufacturer & model number

4) a SMALL compilable program that shows the problem

5) When your problem code is solved, POST the working program! It WILL help others to SEE the working code!

Hint : use the SEARCH engine on this forum to see if others have already found an answer to your problem, as you're probably NOT the first.

Hint: press F11 while your project is open. It will give you easy, fast access to the Help files that CCS supplies. TONS of answers to most basic questions.
Thank you

And another thing that needs to be emphasized:

Read the datasheet.

Then take a break.

Then read it again.

Then take a break.

Then read it again.

The datasheets are long and detailed -- The experts here got to be experts because they took the time to read and re-read the datasheets for devices they were working with until they fully understood the device's modes of operation.

Another example of how Proteus/Isis can lead one astray:
