CCS C Compiler Demo and ICD3
PostPosted: Thu Oct 03, 2013 7:55 pm     Reply with quote

So because of the problems I've been having with the older ccs compiler through MPLABX, I've decided to give the demo of the latest version a shot using the CCS IDE and everything. I'm running into an issue while trying to program my ICD3 through it though... so first of all: is it possible to program using the ICD3 through the CCS IDE? From what I gather it should be?

But after I've gone and installed the demo and the 'icd/icd2/icd3/realice interface' thing, I still get the errors:
"Could not load function: DBG_PASSTHROUGH. Make sure you are running the latest version"
and
"Missing Library. On the CCS download page d/l and execute icd/icd2/icd3/realice interface software. Then re-run this software"
But... no matter how many times I install that straight from the site I keep getting the same message

Any ideas?
