how to connect the hardware of a 3x4 keypad matrix with the 16f877 to use kbd.c?

You should always look in the CCS Code Library for a driver.
There is one for a 4x3 keypad:

There is also a driver in the CCS compiler "drivers" directory, but
the one in the Code Library is more flexible:

If you have questions about how to connect the keypad to the PIC,
then post the manufacturer and part number of your keypad.

Also post a link to the data sheet for the keypad.
